Board of Directors Annual Meeting (July 2020)

The Barbershop Harmony Society Board of Directors annual meeting - originally scheduled during the now-canceled 2020 International Convention - was broadcast over YouTube and was open to the public.

The two days of meetings included general Board items, a State of the Society address from Barbershop Harmony Society CEO Marty Monson, and 2021 Board elections. The recorded sessions are available below.

Slate of candidates - 2021 Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Barbershop Harmony Society will hold its annual meeting via online videoconference on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, 2020. Directions for attending this open meeting as an observer will be provided before the meeting.

As provided for under Article V of the Society Bylaws, on Sunday, July 12, the Board will consider a slate of candidates proposed by the Nominating Committee and reviewed by the District Presidents.

As provided for under section 5.05, additional nominations for any officer positions may be made from the floor, providing the member of the Board who makes any such nomination has the approval of the candidate they propose to nominate, and has notified all directors in writing at least 10 days in advance of the meeting of their intention to make such nomination. There shall be no floor nominations permitted for the position of director-at-large, except when filling a vacancy.

Directors elected will be seated January 1, 2021.
